I have a USA 2020 Jaguar XE R-dynamic with Touch Pro Duo. I have a Google Pixel 3a phone which is supposed to be compatible with the Touch Pro. Every feature of the phone works with the system, Contacts, Recent Calls, Voice Mail Access, Android Auto, making and answering phone calls. The one feature that simply refuses to work reliable is the Text messaging. If I get a text message from a business that is from 5 or 6 digit number, I will hear a loud bong noise. A popup will appear and I can tell it to read the message. However a text message from a typical 10 digit phone number, usually somebody in my Contacts, will result in a loud bong noise and no popup. I go to the phone submenu for text messages it will be blank,

I have tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions on how to get it to work reliably with text messaging?
