Default Turnsignal speed

I just brought my car home from the dealer; I brought it there to have a bubbled tire replaced and to have a badly scratched door repainted. The work was done as requested... no problem... but now my right turn signal flashes twice as fast as the left turn signal, and the faster flash rate is quite annoying.

Neither the manual nor the online owner information site provides any guidance as to how to reverse this change.

Any constructive ideas would be appreciated.

With old turn signals, that meant a bulb was burned out. I’d check all the lights.

Was the door that was fixed, the same side with the faster flash? If so, possibly the mirror blinker isnt working. Put on the hazard flashers and check which one is out.

Great ideas! Thank you... I will check mirror and front and back turn signals.

Same thing happened to me after I left my dealer for paintwork as well. I noticed the faster speed and was pulled over and given a ticket on the way back to the dealer to get it fixed. Turned out that the reason it was blinking faster was to signify a burnt out bulb. Wonder how the paint work caused this.

Yes, my rear passenger side turn signal was not working. Oddly, after I opened and re-closed a small panel in the trunk, trying to figure out how to replace the bulb (but not actually doing anything), the turn signal resumed normal operation and tHe flashing slowed to its normal speed.

Why it broke and why it fixed itself remains a mystery, but unless and until it breaks again, I will leave well enough alone.
