UNBELIEVABLE update to iNcontrol Pro
so a previous thread I had posted was about all the issues I had with my 17’ XE First Edition 35t and the iNcontrol Pro System. (Check that out to see if you had similar problem.) anyway, I finally brought it down to service to see what was wrong. They said there was an update to the system and they held onto the car for 3 days. WELL,,,,, to my surprise, I got in and started it up and DAMN, an entire new interface with all new layouts and functions. I just pulled out so have no idea if any of my problems were fixed, but let me tell you, this system LOOKS amazing. Feel like I’m in a whole new car. Let me know if anyone else got this update and if anything else is new.

WOW!!!!! ONE THING I NOTICE THAT IS SURE TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY THERE ARE NOW VOICE COMMANDS FORNTHE NAVIGATION.

I’m having this update on 26th Feb, looking forward to the new features. There’s also text message updates too if you haven’t noticed. Re-pair your phone and you’ll get an extra option in the phones Bluetooth Jaguar settings for notifications. Turn that on and you’ll get SMS on the Pro.

Afraid it’s dealer only to update it. You’d think with it being able to connect to WiFi they could just make the update FOA to download.
There’s many improvements in that update too, with the meridian sound, iPod, Siri works as it should through the voice button.

yea mine was there 2 days. and yes, talk button on steering wheel work as should, EXCEPT, came right out and said not compatible with iPhone X. that came from dealers invoice, but in car, I was able to bring up all those features but the system said not compatible with my iPhone. system actuallyy said "my iPhone" so they knew what it was and guess knew it wasn't compatible. What update was there to the Meridian ? I have the 825w system. btw, the whole eco, drive mode Wass completely updated and revamped, looks really cool. even just the icons on the screen for everything look so much better

So I went to the dealer to try to get my ICT Pro updated. They claim there is no update available. Does anyone know why this might be the case? I also logged into TOPIX and it doesn't show any updates available for my car.
Dropped mine off this morning and they said there is a big update. that is odd why your dealer said there wasnt
just picked mine up. whole system seems much more responsive and quick.
text messages works great with my pixel 2 so far, havent tried replying, just listening to them when they come in.
new white theme is a nice change as well

I have encountered the same Scenario. Have contacted the dealer and they informed me that there are no updates available. Checked in TOPix and it doesnt Show any updates available. Is it something related to the Country/market specific ? I am based in Germany.. can anyone from Germany confirm if they the updates ??

I just had the update installed. The paperwork said that I went from Phase 2.5 to Phase 3.0.

Just collected the car and finally I have SMS message option!
Differences I’ve found so far.
4G signal strength displayed for car
Option to be notified about latest navigation update.
Notification live app has appeared not found out what this is for
Online media option in Media which supports Deezer
White layout
Eco data has changed layout, green graph has gone
It’s so much more responsive too, well worth it.

but start up time in the morning is noticeably quicker

Dealer finally figured out that there actually is an update available. I had to give them the reference number from TOPIX.
To be clear, it doesn't actually show on TOPIX that the update is available for my car specifically, just that one exists for the Pro system in general.

I just purchased and picked up my 2017 XE tonight. I had seen this thread and informed the dealer to perform the updates and the campaigns found in Topix. They said they moved me to 3.0, but I am not seeing the navigation speech commands. Anyone care to help a noob?
