I have black out badges so it makes it even more difficult. Most of these are from gas stations\red lights.

Opted for no engine badging, too, when I ordered the car.

Nobody has mistaken my car for anything else so far , you know if you dispute that ticket you can win that easy .

At my local British Car Day, a few thought my XE was an XF. One British guy was talking about how he recently drove an XE and wants to buy one thinking he was looking at an XF... I debadged my car, but we were talking from the front quarter. I too think they look very similar.

My car was mistaken for Maserati on 3 occasions in last 4 weeks...

XE and XF do look very similar from the front and from the back. The only giveaway would be the roofline, wider headlights/taillights, and the overall length.
