Smile XE Fuel Consumption

Hey all,

What fuel range and MPG do you guys get in your XE? I have a 35t and it seems to be capped out around 300 miles of range and i am getting 20.9 mpg. In all honesty, I expected more but maybe I have a lead foot. The trip is leftover from the previous owner, so I will reset it and see if I get any better mpgs.

Well, with my 2 litre diesel I have got 45.1 mpg over the last 9000 miles, I'm happy with that. When I fill up it tells me range is over 500 miles

This seems a bit low unless you spend a lot of time in traffic.

Make sure to fill with premium and put injector cleaner with PEA through with your next tank.

Short and long journeys. It is AWD which I assume affects the MPG. Car is on 23.5k miles. I am not going to put permium diesel in as I don't think the extra cost is worth it frankly. Anyway, not all garages sell the stuff, so you'd always be diluting it with regular diesel. Also, I'm not interested in getting the last 1/2 mpg out of the

My 20t around home does 10 ltrs per 100 klm (23.5mpg US)...But on a good run does 5.6 ltrs per 100klm

(42mpg US). Probably all the short drives at home. I always use premium.

I live downtown in my city, so there is a lot of stop and go and short distances. But every day I drive about 20-25 miles on the highway.

My 25t AWD gets in the low 30s most of the time, for suburban and highway driving. Don’t do much true city driving, happily.

My 3.5T R-Sport highway gas mileage on cruise @ 75 mph is between 30 to 32 mpg. This includes punching it those times when I have to pass some left lane campers that don't stand a chance to prevent me from passing.

I have put 15k on my 35t. Over that period my mileage has averaged very close to 22mpg with a mix of highway and city driving. Highest has been 27 which was nearly all highway. Lowest has been 20.5 when I was in an aggressive mood for a few days. Our weather doesn't vary a lot so results may vary. Puts me usually around 310 to 340 for a fill up. My previous three cars were closer to 200 to 250 so 310 to 340 feels LONG RANGE!
