I see some old posts about a trailer hitch for various models but nothing specific to the 2019 4 door XE sedan. I have pretty much given up all hope but figured I would check here. I will be taking possession of the car on friday so I don't have it yet to get measurements and am not even sure if you can access the spare tire well from underneath the vehicle. The hitch only needs to be a class 1 or 2 in order to secure a bike rack to the car. Thinking a mount-it-to-the-spare-tire-well kind of a mount with a steel plate reinforcing the top bolt locations to distribute weight across the aluminum. Maximum weight to be carried would be under 120 pounds including the rack.

Has anyone found a hitch that could be used or know if the spare tire well route will work on the 2019 XE ? I already talked to the dealer and they say nothing available from them but maybe a British manufacturer has something model specific.
