Bluetooth connectivity

Bluetooth connectivity
I have a 2017 XF. The blue tooth connection is connecting and disconnecting on its own during use. How do I correct this. dealer said phone needed update. Did update problem still exist. Also usb will will randomly disconnect. Will sometimes reconnect if I change source to Sirius or fm or am and the return to IPOD
