Default 2012 bluetooth connectivity issues

I recently got an A T & T I phone 4s. The original pairing worked just fine. Over the last few days the following connectivity problems developed with my 2012 XK:

The infotainment screen shut down and would only show the leaper. No screen activated controls would function. Solution - Turn bluetooth off on the I phone, turn back on, shut down Jag, restart Jag, shut down phone, restart phone. Everything back working properly.

New issue last 48 hours telephone connects with Jag ok. In weak signal area bluetooth connection disappears. Solution, touch reconnect on infotainment screen, bluetooth reconnects. Sometimes necessary to reconnect several times.

Anybody else have these issues? If so, is there a permanent solution? and what is it?
Thanks

I have a Sprint 4s and haven't experienced any connectivity pairing issues... and it seems odd that a later rev of the firmware would introduce those. Have you tried a reboot of the phone to see if that clears it? I pair my phone with 2 different cars plus a portable headset.

Thanks, I think it is a mobile phone problem with my particular phone. Today the phone initially paired with the Jag and then disconnected itself 6 times in about 10 minutes. The connection finally took on the seventh try. It also disconnected itself from my portable headset. I have spoken to the manager where I acquired the Iphone. I'm taking it in tomorrow and I believe they are prepared to exchange it for a new unit.

It turns out that the problem was caused by having the bluetooth connection turned on to both the portable headset (hearing aids w/streamer) and the in-car setup. Simply by turning off the bluetooth on the streamer prior to starting the Jag XK has cleared the problem. So if you have bluetooth Phonak hearing aids don't try to keep them on when you want to use Bluetooth in the XK.

Makes sense. If I walk into the room where my computer is talking on my Bluetooth headset, the computer looses its wireless connection to the router. Too many RF things in close proximity will always causes grief.

The connectivity issue has popped up again. Iphone 4S disconnected from my 2012 XK as many as seven times in a few minutes today. Spoke to shop foreman at dealership this afternoon; he advises has seen the problem several times and has replaced the vehicle module without solving the problem. Then the other people had their phones replaced by Apple which straightened out the issue. Said that the the bluetooth software in the Iphone was corrupted. Has anybody had this kind of a problem? If so, how was it solved? Thank you in advance.

I'm having the same issue, just recently with a non-smart phone. Have to connect 5, 6, 7 times. Sometimes I have to give up. I'll have to try turning the phone off and on which I rarely do.
