Driving today from western Switzerland to Paris, with some 49’000 km after 15 months, I restarted the car after a stop to be greeted with an engine error light and a warning about Restricted Performance. I carry a wireless reader (who doesn’t!) and have recorded the code P062F which supposedly refers to some kind of EEPROM error but maybe it is manufacturer specific. Either way it definitely seems to relative to the Powertrain.

The car continued on the journey with absolutely no problems, no difference in handling, and no further warnings - just the engine fault light on. I have emailed the dealer back in Switzerland for advice - it is a company car so I am not very concerned either way and I do have sufficient time here in case they suggest to bring it to a local Jaguar dealer.

Just wondering if anyone has any comments or advice - the F-Pace forum thread was inconclusive.

Have you tried posting your question on the UK forum? There should be other Jaguar owners with suggestions.

Most of the members on this forum are from North America and Jaguar did not offer an XF (X250) diesel variant in this market.
