Default Driver side rear door opened random while driving

drivers side, rear door 2017XF, randomly opened while driving down the road, wont stay closed now. Any ideas? We have it tied shut now but there must be something we can check or do? Any help is appreciated. I posted this in the wrong section earlier and I hope this is the correct one for the XF.

I would check the latch in that door. Use a screwdriver or pen and see if you can close the latch. If not, the latch is most likely junk.

Same thing started happening with me a few weeks ago. No interior warnings or lights- door just swung open when driving. Now the door sometimes doesn't latch correctly. I put the key into the small hole near the door latch, took a bit of playing around with locking and unlocking to get it to close.
Was in with a Jaguar specialist today and he has had 3 XFs in the last couple of weeks with the same problem. It is a serious safety issue and should have a recall.
