Does anyone know if a range rover evoque 2.0 engine fits a Jaguar XF sport 2.0 . I bought one on the advice it was the same engine but my mechanic says it doesn’t line up .

Hello.
Is it Gas/Petrol or Diesel? On Land Rover Evoque, the older models had 2.0 Ford Ecoboost engines and the newer models have the Ingenium 2.0 engines. Also, there might be modifications on Land Rover Evoque engines equipped with a 4 wheel drive.

 

If your not doing this DIY it will be a terribly expensive experience. NEVER buy anything until your sure it will fit!

Yes, the Evoque is either front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, so the transmission end of the engine will be quite a bit different from the rear wheel drive XF. It might be possible to modify it, though by using components from the original XF engine
