Default EPR Procedure for mark2 XF 2017

Does anyone have the transmission and parking brake procedure for a markII XF (2017) Its not in the online manual and there is no obvious trim to remove at the stowage compartment.

Are you talking about a way to disengage the transmission so the car can be moved if it doesn't start or have power?

If so, there doesn't seem to be one on this car. It had to be dragged onto a flat-bed to get towed.

Thanks Jay I thought as much key in lock, then battery applied to engine bay poles will be the only method I guess.

I mailed Jag but dont expect to get a response.

There's a transmission park release handle under the engine cover. Use blade key to open door, pull hood release, lift engine cover and pull handle, attach power to jump start posts to release pbrake.

Good to know. They really should just put that information in the owner's guide.

Basically they have moved the cable that was behind the gearshift to the engin bay under the cover sort of makes sense. You are expected to get power back in for the handbrake release, there is no cable for that.

As you say should have been in the manual. Printed the PDF and stuffed it in the handbook. Not all towing operatives will have a flat bed or know how to isolate the drive tran.
