Heads up display
Have new 2016 XF Prestige with the heads up display. I can barely see
it during the day. Have played with the adjustments - have it on full bright
and as close to to driver as possible. Have I missed something or do I need
to see dealer?

I have the head-up display in my XF and do not have any problems with brightness.
Are you wearing polarized sunglasses when driving? These will weaken the brightness of the display. If not, you should have your dealer check for a problem.
I purchased a pair of Serengeti non-polarized sunglasses with driver’s lenses years ago, when I could not see the head-up display at all in my BMW. These sunglasses work great and make the display sharp and crisp. Many pilots use them for the same reason. When using my polarized sunglasses in the XF, I can still see the display, however, it is very dim.
