How do I update Maps for 2017 XF?
I have 2017 XF Prestige and am thinking that after 2 years of ownership, that the Navigator Maps need or should be updated. BUT...I cannot find out how to do this!!! Did find something on internet that says MAP CARE is FREE for 2017 and later models if vehicle is still under warranty. But when I go onto JAGUAR.HERE.COM XF model, it stops showing updates after 2015. My dealer seems clueless about an update. Says there is none that they can find. Ants in advance for detailed help on this issue.

Go to https://www.jaguar.here.com and either login or register. Once logged in, follow the Maps & Services link and you should see the latest maps. If your subscription is still active then you should be able to download the latest maps. If your subscription has expired, I'm sure you can buy the latest maps and get 12 months or 3 year subscription offerings.

Which system is installed InControl Touch (8inch screen) or InControl Touch Pro (10 inch screen). They are very different. I have the InControl Touch (8inch screen) and the most up to date map data version is 28.4.10727 dated 29th November 2019. It is also the last version as Jaguar has decided to abandon this system and there will be no more updates. If it is this system then you have to download a PC or Mac app from https://jaguar.welcome.naviextras.com/
It is shocking that Jaguar will no longer be providing updates for part of a system that was supplied to model year 2018 cars.
I had lots of problems getting the last and only update I've had for my map system ........... good luck.

The resolution to my update was for JLR technical services to supply via customer services a new licence files to copy onto the SD card ..... I never got an explanation why but it took From August to end of November 2019 to finally get a resolution. If you can try & get Odafe at customer services to take it on ..... she was the one who chased the problem down and got a resolution.
