Has anyone in this group retrofitted the illuminated doors sills into the XF. I have a 2017 20d Prestige and was thinking about doing this. I see that many people in the F-Pace community have done this. I did a search in this forum and haven’t found anything.

It looks super simple as the wiring should already be in there…. At least it is for the F-Pace. Im hoping that’s the case with the XF as well. I was going to pull up one of my sills and take a look but would rather not risk breaking any clips at least until I can pick up some extras.

Any info would be appreciated.

 

I have not seen anyone on XF forum, that's far as I know. But there is someone on XE forum who installed the illuminated door sills. First it didn't worked out right & finally after a few attempts he got it to work.

Thanks for the info. Pretty much the same as the F-Pace. Cheapest I can find them is 450 USD. I may wait to find some from a parts car at some point.
