My 2016 XF is a wonderful vehicle (except aluminum in hail). The only problem is the inControl cycles on and off about every 300 miles. Basically, when at speed, it shuts down, goes blank, and restarts. Takes about a minute to recycle. Not good when using GPS and you have a turn coming up.


So I've been asking my dealership about it and got blank stares until today. The XF was in for its annual and I mentioned the problem again. The service advisor said, "oh yea, it is a problem" and Jag has an software update coming out in 3 weeks or so. He said the delay was coming up with a solution that took quite awhile to create. They hope this update fixes what is now a known defect.

 

Thanks for the info. Useful to know. My InControl system has not done this, but if it does I know why.
