Default Installing Passive Entry Door Handle

My car (Jaguar XF 2017 35T Premium) does not have passive entry, only keyless. My question is can I just install a new driver and passenger side door handle with passive entry to get this feature working? Is the wiring and module already available in the door? Will the car learn this new configuration?

Are there any Jaguar experts in Phoenix AZ that can do this? The dealer has declined to do it.

Are you saying install a door handle that can be opened without a key fob? Just don't lock the car when you leave. Or, use the key inside the key fob. I don't understand why or what you want to do.

No. I am talking about passive entry. Prestige model has that feature. You open the car door without touching the key fob. The sensor is built into the door handle that detects the key fob nearby and allows the door to be opened without first unlocking with key fob. Dont you have this feature in your car?

I didn't realize your model doesn't have this feature. The operator's manual doesn't say anything about the feature being model specific that I could see (unless I missed it).

Happy '21 All...
(hopefully)

As a fellow '17 Premium owner, I also miss the passive locking that even my Mustang had..

In addition to the handle, it appears you'll need 2 of these as well:

You will need a new KVM too. They are different for keyless and non keyless entry. You will also need someone to code it all.
