Well, first off, move your question to the forum for the previous XF model. A 2009 will be an early XF constructed of steel, the current model is almost all aluminium and whilst it looks the same, it is totally different in almost all respects.
On the list of forums go to "Jaguar Models (Modern) and you'll see the first forum is for the XFs 2007-2015 (X250). There's plenty to read there !! Generally speaking from what a local independent told me here in England, they are pretty good. The diesel engined cars did have some problems.
