Default Engine light on with a P003C code

Hey guys,
recently I just got my 2012 Jaguar XF back from getting the engine rebuilt. The mechanic told me to be light on the gas pedal until the news parts begin to break in. After pulling out of traffic i accelerated a little fast and I had the check engine light come on. I scanned my car and got a

P003C code. I think it’s the oil control valve( which I think Is the vvt solenoid if I’m not mistaken). Had anyone else had this code? The car runs fine I jus don’t like the check engine light on. I only drive the car moderately because I’m scared I will tear something up if i drive it like I want to. Please help

Is it plugged in? Did you check the connector?

It would have triggered an open circuit code. I have this same error but on bank 2 which is P003e. Where you able to resolve this issue?
