I have 2014 jaguar xf. Battery died a month ago Replaced battery and key fob wouldn’t unlock car. Had door lock company come out. He made another key fob and got car to turn on, but car computer still doesn’t recognize key fob to start car. Any ideas???

You're in the forum for the X260 (2015 onwards) model.

The new key needs to be programmed to the car. The locksmith only cut the key and programmed the immobilizer (to start), but not the remote functions.

You need a Jaguar specialist or dealer with the proper software to fully sync the new key fob to the car's body control module. A simple battery reset won't fix it.
