My 2012 Jaguar XF Premium Luxury has lost the indicator sound. While the indicators still work, they are silent which is a nuisance. Jaguar servicing tells me it's a small speaker attached to a unit which drives all of the functions in the dashboard. $2000 for the part and $1000 labour. To add insult to injury the extended warranty we bought expired two months before the part broke. Anyone had a similar problem and is there a less expensive solution?

 

Hi - you're in the wrong section of the forum. You want the X250 (previous XF model) - look in the 'modern jags' section. If you search around several others have lost that speaker too. Although the prices you quote are staggering...
