I bought the car as second hand without the engine undertray. It is a US Spec sold as new in a Florida dealership. I did not pay much attention but I wasn't seeing any missing bolts or such. Was there such a thing as splash shield for hot climates?

OK, now I see that somebody butchered the undertray and cut out the fragment that covers the sump, probably for easier oil change. I think this thread is useless and can be deleted
