Default Need help freeing Supercharger

X351 XJL 3.0 V6 SC. I’m tearing into the SC snout for coupler replacement and to find a coolant leak. The intake is off and I’ve removed everything I believe necessary yet while prying for removal, it won’t budge. Please check the attached photo and let me know if I missed some bolt(s) or anything else.
1. Did I miss any hold down bolts on my Supercharger?
2. Did I miss removing any part that would interfere with removing the SC?
3. I need assistance on where to most efficiently place prying leverage.
Thanks.

You've got to remove those six bolts in the intake manifolds.

Thanks XJ8JR.
I appreciate the reply. I had the bolts loose when I posted, was looking to see if I missed any before prying it loose.
I finally did get the SC loose. It rocks up/down front to back about 1/8”. This tells me it’s free & has 2 snap-in pins holding it in place somewhere in the middle. I’m having a tough time leveraging enough strength to pop it up.
Any suggestions as to where to place a wedge? ( be kind ;-) . Too many plastic bits to break.
Regards.

I had a similar issue so I ended up buying a cheap engine brace, and that did the trick nicely.

Like this: https://www.harborfreight.com/1000-l...bar-96524.html

I don't think I would have been able to reinstall the supercharger without it.

Funny you sent the post with the HF part. I was searching my garage for a piece of angle iron to make a similar tool.
For $80 I’ll go for it. Thank you so much for the labor saving post. Very timely...
Regards

The SC is now free of the set pins only to find one small inconvenience

:
On the LH back side of the SC is a sensor labeled “VOLVO PN 31355463” (pic). I can get my fingers on the wire connection but, not sure of what to push-slide-yank to avoid a snap! If you have removed a 3.0v6 SC, you would know the secret of its removal. Please share!
I apologize for being so darn needy, I’m obviously on a 90 degree learning curve.

That's one of the MAP sensors. Push down on the tab with the two horizontal lines above the clockface-type branding. I would consider replacing that sensor while you have access to it. Its not very expensive at all if you search the part no. online, and bypass the dealership.

Just like your last post here, you are very timely. I picked up the engine support tool at HF. Five minutes later the SC was free. This morning the sensor connector finally gave way, although begrudgingly. I’ll look into the sensor replacement before I’m finished..
I moved the SC to my work bench. Boy, what a stubborn piece of work this snout is! I’ll keep hammer shocking and then banging away with a light rubber mallet along with some tension until it breaks free. I may breakout the dead blow hammer next. I hesitate using any form of heat to free it up because of the aluminum. You’ve certainly been very helpful, any other tips of the trade? Thanks again.

There's a leverage point somewhere on the snout which you can use to break it free. I think its somewhere on the bottom edge. It was indeed a huge pain to get it off.

Yes Jaguar put a spot to pry see if this picture helps?
But your right everyone complains about how stout that sealant is.
You can see the black sealant that has squeezed out too.
