I have had my X260 since May now 32K on the clock...
2 Litre Petrol..
Now over the last month a very nasty smell in the cabin.. I assumed something had arrived "on foot".However, not the case..
So I replaced pollen filter, silly place to hide it
Then gave it 2 of the expensive ventilation cleaners, with recirculate and Aircon on full bast..
However that helped only slightly..
It is definitely coming in from the outside..Yuk

It was fine in the summer...I have done several 1000 miles and still no major improvement..
So I had a look under the bonnet and bottom of windscreen..Could not see the intake anywhere.. Where did they hide it and can it be cleaned?
So first anyone else has this problem?
My never had this before with any car! X250 was lovely and fragrant!

Could be a rodent that seeked refuge to your car and died. If it is, the smell would be gone within weeks

 

Puzzles me as to how it got in!
