I am the very happy new owner of a 2017 XF R-Sport AWD in Caesium Blue, 1 previous owner and less than 60k miles. However I do have 1 minor problem.
The speed limiter works fine, but I cannot get it to change from speed limit to cruise control. There are no errors or messages presented so I am assuming I don't have a module failure.
I assume cruise control was a standard item based on spec sheets so does anyone have any ideas why it wont enable?

Are you pressing the speed limiter button on the steering wheel to switch it off first?
Once switched on it stays on, even if you switch off the engine, the button needs to be pressed to deactivate.
After this, cruise control is permanently engaged and should work just by pressing the set + and - buttons

The steering wheel switch only turns the speed limiter on and off. Indications for this act normally and I can use the speed limiter as expected but I cannot get it to cycle between speed limit and cruise.

If the speed limiter light is off, the cruise control should be active.
If you can't engage cruise with the + and - buttons with the speed limiter off then there's clearly a fault with the system.
Can't help further, but hope you manage to get it sorted.
