seeking advice on 2018 2.0d maintenance
I am new to both Jaguars and the Forum, although I did own a Mk2 3.8 may years ago. I just read an 8 month old Reddit post re the XF 2.0d (2018) which has led to a degree of panic re a recent jaguar purchase. I live in Laos and just purchased a 2018 XF 2.0d for my wife with 9,000 km (yes that is correct and genuine). Unfortunately i did not read the ingenium 2.0 d post before purchase. I usually drive lexus or mercedes, but the 9,000km and my wife's positive reaction to he XF meant the change to JLR. So now I need to live with the car. Can I please ask your advice on maintaining the vehicle to minimize catastrophic failures? I note that 6 month oil and filter changes, long trips to regen the DPF and avoiding quick shutoff after short trips to fully regen the DPF are possible solutions. Thanks in advance.
