Default Sportbrake / XFS mileage & wind noise

Hi All
I traded in my 2016 XJ R-Sport a few months back for an 18 Sportbrake and while I normally do not really care or notice mileage the Sportbreak really seems to suck a lot more gas then my much larger XJ did. I average about 15 mpg now/ XJ was closer to 20. It's basically the same engine and transmission just tuned a bit more in the XFS trim.

Just curious about what other get under fairy normal driving?
Also, taking it to the dealer in the AM because the driver side window does not really seal well and makes a lot of noise even driving at low speed let alone motorway speeds or if its windy and in a car wash.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

If your XFS Sportbrake is a 6 cylinder you should get

Combined/City/Highway: 22 mpg/19 mpg/27 mpg

We get an average of 22mpg (2018 3 liter S). It was 26+mpg on a 1,000+ mile trip to Florida two weeks ago.
Had the same issue with the passenger window. It needs to be reset. Lower window and hold switch down for three seconds, after which close window and hold switch up for three seconds. If that fails get the dealer to do reset.
