Default Symposer?

What does the "symposer" consist of and where is it? "....a carefully tuned symposer feeds some of the supercharged V6’s induction sound back into the cabin to make exploiting the performance potential even more exhilarating...."

Thanks for the link. The "speaker/resonator" is obvious on the firewall from inside the engine compartment and easy enough to access. I temporarily pinched off the hose leading to it and yes it reduces the sound. I'm planning to put an inline plug right at the 'resonator' and reconnect the hose so there won't be any vacuum leaks and then I'll test it more thoroughly but I can't imagine why I would ever reconnect it.

That was almost too easy. No tools needed. Pinch the connector ring and pull off the hose. Insert plug.... cut from rubber stopper to fit snug without extending too far out.... and push hose back on until it snaps in. Will test when torrential rain stops.

Works great. Intake sound still there when you give it the juice but much more subtle and in the background.....like it should be IMO.
