Can anyone tell me what the visual difference is between Taiga Green and British Racing Green metallic? I am contemplating purchasing a Taiga Green XKR but it is across the country and I can't see it in person. In photos, the color looks lighter and closer to the Emerald Fire metallic from I believe 2010. BRG and Botanical Green both seem to,have a lot of black in them, and I am wondering if Taiga is lighter, more "green" in most lighting. Taiga isn't listed as a color option in any of the XK brochures, so I'm assuming it was a special order.

Pictures on the net seem darker than BRG, so a lot darker than emerald fire or JRG.

 

I would say just the opposite from pictures I have seen, but you can never really tell anything from pictures. I was hoping to find someone who,actually has a vehicle in Taiga who would know. I mistakenly posted this in the wrong forum since Taiga seems to have been a color used a bit in 2012 on XF and XJ models.
