Quick Question for the XF forums...
Did the XF feature a rear Limited Slip Differential (LSD)?

An enquiring mind in the F-Type forums wants to know.
It is difficult to find good used LSD rear diffs from the F-Type S models.
And I don't want to jump up to the electronic rear diff from the V8 models...

The XF rear diff (and F-Pace) looks very similar to that of the F-Type... so perhaps a carrier swap is in order.

I was pondering this exact question:- The 25t Is really missing a LSD and I was wondering if there was a Jaguar parts bin special I could perform, or even an aftermarket unit.

I've dug around but can't find explicit mention of LSD on any of the models here.

It appears that the XF, F-Pace, and F-Type all share a rear axle design.
Other Jags may have a similar rear axles, but with different mounting points, or different axle flanges.

I just found a used LSD from an F-Type V6 S model, and I will be inspecting and seeing if the LSD carrier inside the axle has a manufacturer code or part number.
We may be able to put together a kit with Carrier, Shims, and Bolts so that more Jag owners can upgrade.
