Default XFR-S possible buy

I'm a lighting X350 guy, having owned two of them (2004 XJR and now 2007 SuperV8). Got my eyes on a 2015 XFR-S, drives like a bat out of hell and sounds mean. I think I'm in love.

Can you guys give me any ptrs to look for or any possible gotchas?

Also, I heard only 100 of these came to the US in 2014. Any idea how many made it across the pond in 2015?

I'm not close to being any authority on the XF but I do know there are significant differences between the X250 and the X260 and depending when the car was built in 2015 determines what model it is. Same motor but different frames, interior, lighting ? Maybe someone more in the know can correct me or add more information.

I thought the first model year that the X260 appeared in the US was 2016, so if this is a 2015 model year, it would be an X250. In that case, I cannot help since my experience is based on a 2010 X250 with the V8 NA engine which would be a little out of date.

Thanks fellas. I've confirmed it's a x250, so I've reposted in that forum.

Extensive use of aluminum in the X260 making for a very solid and nimble ride and cornering. Not saying the X250 doesn't have those features but it's an upgrade in the X260. Or is that my imagination and the X250 has the same frame an cast pieces?

Technically they came here in 2013, as 50 only as I recall, but then were available in 2014 and 2015 as well. I never heard how many Jag actually sold each year but I suspect they didn't hold to the 100 number you mention.
