Default 09 XF SC Supercharger/Aux water pumps question

WARNING: Long Post

So I’ve been trying to trace down my overheating issue. I’m a little confused, so in total there are 3 water pumps on the car? 1 main water pump, 1 aux water pump, and 1 supercharger water pump? I was going through the forum that Big Will posted years ago about the Bosch 010 pump, and on there some folks were saying there are 2 aux pumps. But when I googled I only found one that keeps popping up which is the supercharger pump. But then there is another aux pump with a different part number.

These are the part numbers:
C2C1314
C2C6517

These both have two different prices and look similar but are way different as well.

2-3 years ago I got my SC water pump changed to the Bosch 010, It ran fine. January this year my car went into restricted performance, was over heating and threw codes for “Supercharger Coolant Pump”. Got the SC pump replaced again and sometime later the code went away but is still overheating till date and goes into limp mode time to time. I’ve gotten the water pump replaced 3x (latest is today), thermostat 3x, new radiator, new cats and O2 sensors yet is still over heating. I just am thinking it’s more than likely the “aux heater” water pump (if that exists) or the supercharger water pump

Sorry for long post once again lol

Yes three pumps but they do 3 different things. The supercharger pump wont cause the engine to overheat. It lets they intercoolers get hot and that causes a restricted performance warning and you get. a lack of power

the auxiliary pump only helps boost the performance ofthe haterat low idle. Not sure if that would cause the engine to overheat

As Aarcuda posted those pumps don't have anything to do with the car over heating.

Any other codes? You have only mentioned P2601. Is that the only one? Is the IC pump getting power? It's rare to have these fail multiple times and I have always just replaced them because I wanted a higher output pump.

i have a question because I am absolutely stuck, I have p2601 code along with restricted performance. Code comes on depending how I drive the car if I cruise can drive all day. I changed coolant pump to s/c, wiring, connectors, checked fuses, changed thermostat and I still get same code and problem does anyone have any suggestions

Marquise you have posted no car info and jumped into another thread started by someone else?
I think you also have a 4.2L SC engine? Not sure?

Please post pictures as we have had many replace the wrong pump. Are you sure is was the SC IC pump and NOT the AUX heater pump?
Did you do the work?
Was the front bumper removed to do the repair?
There is no thermostat for the IC? The pump runs 100% of the time when the ignition is on. The entire IC system is separate from the engine cooling system. Yes they share a common fill and air bleed port but the fluids do not mix.

Thanks for response , no I did not do the work and unfortunately no I don’t have any pictures just going off faith. I took it to an electrical shop to get fixed no the front bumper wasn’t removed but they lifted the car up and went from underneath. I am going to try and bleed the system to see if maybe the lines are clogged

Still no car info and without you doing the work it will be impossible to answer. I maybe giving wrong info because of the lack of car info?

Just need to bring it back to the shop. Too bad they took that short cut. I would remove the front bumper and inspect the work.
Here is where the IC pump is and it's a long way from the bottom of the car. It's at the top left hand corner of the radiator if your standing in front of the car. Plus the hoses are a very tight fit as there is little room to work. Even WITH the bumper removed.

I have changed several and again please have them remove the front bumper to get proper access. It's really needed.
