Default 12 XF S/C with Forgestar F14F also review on Modbargains

Ordered the wheels from Modbargains, received my wheels just about 11 weeks later. Test fit the wheels and TPMS sensors were hitting the rear calipers, front TPMS would probably hit calipers also.

On modbargains site they stated that the wheels were tpms compatible. Notified them , and they suggested that I BUY TPMS adapters for it. Told them I was pretty disappointed that I had to buy parts to make it compatible for wheels that are so called TPMS compatible??? total BS!!!

I've searched the web (should have done it before buying) on Forgestar and modbargains and not to many pleasent reviews. Didn't want to wait and/or deal with them, so I went to a local wheel shop (Revolution) and they were very friendly and helpful. Hooked me up with the parts I needed.

Tire install was a pain, mounted the flush valve stems with the bracket, mount top bead on to wheel, install tpms to bracket, mount bottom bead to wheel.

Had to do it that way because if i install the tpms before mounting the tire, top bead would hit and/or damage the tpms sensors.

If anyone decides to purchase a f14f or any wheels that are not tpms compatible, may I suggest getting the tpms strap kit instead.

THUMBS DOWN for Modbargains
there were also other things modbargains did, but I just noted down what they did that really pissed me off.

Glad everything worked out, car looks great, looks like you are lowered a bit, can I get some details on your suspension set-up? TC

Any issues with the dynamic mode setting with the H&R spring set up?

Does the car have less body roll? Can you give us driving and handling impressions and differences from stock?

Car looks great.

Thanks, No issues with dynamic setting.

Car rides (body roll and handling) like stock if not, just a tad stiffer. Couldn't tell much of a difference.

Only after installing the wheels I've noticed it was stiffer. I'm assuming it's from the tires being stretched.

Can you please give info on the wheel setup? I'm assuming they are 20's, but width and offset. Also tires, you mentioned they are stretched.

Looks very nice!!! I have the F14's (not the F14f's), and that's why I didnt have any issues with the tpms.

They didn't give me info on the offsets. Fronts are 8 1/2 rears 10.
Using the stock tires on them.
