2009 Jaguar XF Intermittent hard start/crank- no start condition
I have a 2009 Jaguar XF 4.2L gas engine not supercharged, that has an intermittent hard start/crank no start condition.
Here is a video demonstrating the symptoms:
When this first happened, it generated numerous misfire codes on all cylinders. One time shortly after that it started, revved fast, and then shut off. Since then, it does not generate any codes. It happens intermittently. The car will most of the time start and run fine. And then occasionally will have this intermittent condition.
When this condition appears, sometimes it will eventually start, sometimes it will crank and not start and I have to shut it off and try again 1x 2x before it will start.
