2009 Supercharged XF issues
Hey,
I have been doing alot of research , and in Canada it is nearly impossible to get parts for this car.
Now I want to solve my rear differential problem (Carrier), i know a different person suggested using an F type diff and reprogramming but that isn't a choice for me here in Canada.
As to the jaguar fix they want near 10, 000 to change the setup! its practically the price of the car.
I am wondering if i could fit in the newer XF differential in. even 2011. How could i go about finding out?
The car sits at 140,000 Kms which is ridiculous for the differential to be even weeping.

Have you had an independent euro import specialist take a look if it can be sealed again. If the diff is not whining it can just need seals that the dealers may not consider those a service item.
If you do in fact need an entire replacement, strongly recommend you source an exact swap from a matching spec/year wreck at an auto recycler. It seems impossible but they do come up.
The diff is specific to the supercharged or without, and other years have different engines, transmissions not to mention some electronically assisted limited slip configurations combined with the different stability control versions that make it seemingly impossible to sort out without costly trial and error. You can google auto recyclers and there are forms for parts request.
Example but not supercharged, you can ask the seller if they can find yours.

These guys have are parting out the engine and trans so possibly have a diff also, worth asking to source what you need.
