I have a 2009 XF 3.0 petrol,; a couple of days ago I noticed the lights were on while driving in bright sunlight. I switched them from auto to off but the green light stayed on. Once parked with the engine off the lights still remained on? I tried manoeuvring the indicator/lights arm and found that when the arm is in the right indication position (ignition off) the green light goes out but the parking side light comes on? An ex-RAC friend suggested disconnecting the battery earth lead for a couple of hours and reconnecting to reset the ECU, but the lights still remain on permanently? Does anyone have any suggestions please?

 

Wow, that's sounding like a dealer fix if the battery disconnect won't work. Please post your solution.
