Default 2009 XF Premium strangeness

Hi folks

I have a couple of weird things going on with my 09 XF.

First - Rear view camera works fine when the car is first started, but ends up green if it's warm outside or I've been driving it a bit.
Second - Nav screen is totally black.
Third - the first two only started happening after I replaced the battery.

SO - the questions are:

First - Can I try to reset everything now that I'm post-battery replacement?
Second - I did have issues with the trunk latch that was fixed with a quick solder job. Should I replace the harness from the body to the trunk? and if so, what's the part number?
Third - For the Nav - do you think popping the DVDs (from 2008) and putting them back in would help? Or just cough up for the latest (2015) version?

Thanks in advance.

Z

Wonder if you damaged the video wire in the trunk hinge while repairing the latch wire?

Quite possible.

I'd love to just replace that connector between the body and trunk, but I'm out in the boonies and need to order it on-line as the nearest JLR dealership is at least 8 hours away.

Thanks for the reply!

Yes. Once one wire breaks it's only a matter of time before others do. They have a redesigned replacement harness. Easy fit. Part number C2Z19874 I think. You can order and have it mailed. I replaced on my 2010 years ago. Was under $150 for the part I think.

Thanks for the part number.
When I took mine apart, there were a few other wires that looked pretty suspect.

There are a couple of different looms, the dealer would want the vin number. There's also a label with the part number on the actual loom.

I've got a replacement loom on order and I'll be putting it on after the car is parked for the winter.

Thanks for the information!
