Default Trunk cargo net for the XF?

Folks,

Going by the accessory list for the XF, it appears that cargo organization options for the trunk are pretty limited. Has anyone used or adapted anything from the other Jags to the XF (e.g. trunk floor net, trunk hammock net, etc.)? The collapsible cargo carrier does not have many favorable reviews.

Cheers!

You should be able to use one from a 7-series BMW, which should stretch far and wide enough for an XF trunk.

Check out the link below.

I bought the cargo hammock net listed for the XK and other models (per the accessories book). I used the instructions for the XK and am happy to report that it fits well and works well.

I have the collapsible cargo carrier and, apart from the ridiculous price, I can report it is excellent.

I'm looking into getting this. I have a few quarts of fluid, tire chaings, a flashlight, a couple shop rags, and a tire gauge all playing drums in my trunk whenever I turn a corner or come to a stop.

I've seen pictures of the collapsible cargo carrier, but what are the dimensions? Also, how does it stay in one place in the trunk? Any special assembly required?

Thanks!

No assembly required. Unfortunately, it relies on a rubber base gripping the trunk carpet by friction alone. As th rubber gets dusty the thing slides around. More weight helps keep it in place. Lengthwise, It is approximately 90% of the width of the trunk floor at the narrow point. It is about 16 inches wide.

It folds flat and stays flat with integral clips. It has two adjustable dividers secured by Velcro. It has two lift handles, one at each end. It really needs a strap at eac end to clip it to the load rings.
