If you don't already know:

JAGUAR
A problem with rear differential contamination may affect some XF and XK models. In T.S.B. K035 issued on March 18,

Jaguar said an excess of silicon carbide might have been left in the units in 2009 models, causing premature wear. Jaguar will replace affected differentials without charge through March 31, 2011.

silicon carbide is an abrasive

you have about 2 weeks left on this one. notice it says "some"

I called the service rep at the dealership about this last week. They didn't have a matching TSB in the system. Has any other owners replaced their differential with this TSB?

FYI I was told the rear diff was prone to leaking at the axle seals. If that was ever a problem the tech said they said they would upgrade to the new diff right away.

I wasn't aware of this ... but during acceleration, i hear a clunk noise and I can feel it in the accelerator pedal. I feel like it comes from the rear - It happens once a while ... I am assuming any work will be covered by warranty - I understand that the Supercharged is prone to this but has anybody experienced this and is it the differential problem?
