I posted before about performance upgrades because this car does not have enough power for me. Question one, around what is my car worth, 09 xf premium luxury 52k miles with transderrable 100k full coverage warranty. mint condition. Question two. How much would i be looking at for 45-65hp upgrade on my current car. How much to bump it up to 100hp making it around 400hp. And taken what my current car is worth, how much more to sell it and pay for a 2009 xfr with around same milage 50k give or take, no warranty. Thanks

 

1. Your car is worth between $31,000 - $33,000. Depends how clean it is.
2. $4,000 - $5000. The only way you are going to squeeze that much (50-100) HP out of that NA engine is by installing a supercharger on it.

There were no XFRs made in 2009. If you want a 2010 model year XFR, get ready to drop 50k on one.

*Suggestion - Trade your car in either for a 2010 with the 5 liter engine in it or for 09 Supercharged.

 

thanks, two more questions..one the 09 xfpremium luxury vrs 09 xf supercharged what is difference in intererior and non engine related options, like heated steering wheels, memory seats ect... Also, if i got the 09 xf supercharged and i wanted a ecu tune or a supercharger pully to bump it up to around 475hp, would that void my warrant. also do they make a 4.2 supercharged 09 xf. i think they do and its like 420hp right? and they all have paddle shifters behind steering wheel correct?

Any 09 supercharged XF will have what your car has and even more for options. They all came options out. For a tune, you can check out the ECU upgrade thread for numbers and cost.

Yes, if you load a tune into your car and something happens to the engine, Jaguar will blame it on your tune and your warranty will be useless.
