Default 2010 XF Radiator Fan

I have noticed the last few days the fan continues to run when the car is turned off. Runs for about 5 minutes..Coolant level normal, no warning lights but it has never done this before Just had 40k service and the dealership flashed the software. Could that have caused this? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hmm, doesn't look like you have the supercharged version which explains why the cooling runs sometimes (after you drive hard and have some fun). Though, I suppose that if you are driving at higher revs then it will run just depending on engine temperature.

I had the same issue at about 15K miles. Never happened before. Dealer says is normal but could not explain why has not occurred before but then several times in a row and in the winter yet

If you have a 4.2 eng and they reflashed the ecm, it's normal..
