Hi im driving a 2010 jag xf and i need a little info about replacing the rear right upper control arm(wishbone) . my mechanic recons that the whole subframe would have to come off the car to do this. is this true? or if anyone knows the proceedure for doing that any advise would greatly be appreciated!

 

doesn't look like the workshop manual doesn't show the need to drop whole sub frame.

 

yea i was looking at one too and didnt mention it either which is odd! but thanks for the reply
