Default 2012 Jaguar XF Slight Ticking/Rattle Noise

Hi,

I recently purchased a 2012 Jaguar XF, I have noticed that there's this very slight ticking/clicking/rattling noise at around 1000-1500 rpm. Please check out the YouTube video. Everything else seems normal. The car drives fine and quiet other than this small issue. I don't know what's the cause of it. I took it the Jaguar dealership and they did a diagnostic and said it's normal. It just makes me unease knowing that there's this little weird noise. Please let me know what you guys think or what your experiences are.

That's really odd. The video almost sounds like something's being hit. Maybe check your pulleys and see if they're running into something when the engine moves? Otherwise, it also kinda sounds like small backfires. I'd expect some sort of code though if it were running lean or something.

Video would not play, but description sounds like direct injection high pressure injector firings, which would be nominal.
