Default 2012+ XF DRL to stay on with turn signals

Hey all,

How do I keep my day time running lights on while using the turn signal? Is there a mod?

Currently when in the day time using DRLs, if I use a turn signal then the DRL for that side headlight turns off. I believe this was done for regulatory reasons. Now all the newer cars do it.

It seems bad looking when I see this one DRL off and another on. How do we fix this?

Thanks

That's what it's meant to do. It's not a fault. You shouldn't see it with one drl off unless the indicator is actually on. And in that situation it's intentional for safety

there is a rule for US cars, that if there's a turn signal, there should be no other lights on to distract, or they need to be dimmed to a certain %

I don't think there is a car configuration option you can select to make the mod, unfortunately.
