Thanks! I'm more impressed every time I drive it. Love the split personality between sport/comfort.

congratulations! Terrific car and with a tune you'll be able to catch up to an XFR.
I have a 2015 XF S/C and could not be happier with it. A bit soft, but it is a classy, fast sedan, not an F-Type

Agreed, it's a bit softer than what I'm used to (which is probably a good thing for daily driving). I've already got a list going of things to check out, including the tune and the typical exhaust mods (would be great to hear it more as that's a big part of why I wanted a V8...). Can't wait to get it out on a proper curvy road again this weekend.

Thanks! I stumbled across that thread last week I think. Between the info on the forum, talking to some knowledgeable folks at the dealer here and being able to blast around on a few backroads in the last 10 days I think I've more than found my answer. I was able to take a road trip over the weekend and spent most of the time doing highway cruising but had the opportunity to blast up and down the Catalina Highway near Tuscon which I had just done two weeks prior in my old ride. I swear driving the XF is like owning two cars. Perfectly comfortable when cruising down the highway or around town but amazingly capable and athletic when you want it to be. I was worried the weight of the car would bother me on a twisty road. While it's obvious the XF is no lightweight, my concerns were dispelled completely over the weekend thanks to the excellent chassis/suspension tuning. It most definitely rewards you for driving it skillfully but aggressively and hides it's weight well.

I'd still be curious to compare back to back with an XFR to see what the tangible differences are with two unmodified cars. However, the XF SC certainly hasn't left me wanting. Between "teaching" the active systems in the car how I like to drive and working with the service manager here to fine tune those systems in the future if needed I'm sure I've made a great choice with the XF SC.

Great choice! I did the same thing, ended up with a certified 2013 - and love it! The only thing I have changed so far is placing a ribbed valance panel on the back - same as on the R. Looks great....fun to drive, and continues to surprise the plethora of leased Ghiblis running around the area.
