I just ordered all the black trim for my 12 XFR. I was told that the Front Lower Grille inserts would not fit my VIN. I found that to be strange. Aren't all 2012 XFR bumpers built from the same mold? They all look the same to me. I had not issues with VIN matching for the big grille & door trims.

I checked up on the black wheels. Dealer quoted me $5300 for 4 wheels. That doesn't include tires! Ripoff as far as I am concerned.

 

Look into powdercoat...
I had my 2001 Merc C320 original wheels, repaired and powdercoated, pulled and remounted for $125/wheel... they look fantastic and so far holding-up VERY well.

Imagine what you could do with the remianing $4 grand!

 

Chrome delete is definitely up next!
