Default 2013 XF 3.0 Wheels

Probably a stupid question but, any reason why prior year XF wheels would not fit my '13 XF ? I realize some models had two different sizes - front and back. What I am looking for is to replace my 18" with a set of 19".

When you say, would not fit, what exactly do you mean? Do you know the name of the wheels you tried installing?

Caliper issues? Width?

Is it possible you tried installing the rears on a 19X9.5 width up front?

Otherwise, they should bolt up. Most of the wheels are interchangeable between the years. They all have the same bolt pattern.

No sorry - I am looking to purchase a set of OEM 19" wheels. Wanted to make sure that there was no gotchas.

Thanks

I just installed my 19" stock wheels off the 2012 XJL on my 2012 XF. The 275 rears fit perfectly, better than the original as the original needed a 20mm spacer to pull them out nearly even with the fender.

The front XJL wheels would fit identically to the stock XF wheels but, I added 15mm H&R spacers to bring them out to the fenders.

What tires are you intending to run with the 19" wheels? The XJL's 245 and 275 tires are a full 1" taller in diameter than the stock 18" XF ones. They look good and handle good on the XF and the speedometer is just about 100 percent accurate with the larger wheels/tires.

Well you can install the following if you want to stick to 19s.

Arturas - 19x8.5 all around
Caravellas - 19x8.5 all around
Aquilas - 19x8.5 all around

Type the names on the internet for pictures to see what you may find befitting.

All Ford based Jaguars use the same bolt circle and hub size. Offsets are different but probably not critical. The pre Ford XJ and XK use much larger bolt circles but those are no longer manufactured. Just don't buy old Jaguar wheels without checking which model range they fit. All new Jaguars use the same wheels.

Brake caliper size may limit how small you can go.
