2014 XF 3.0 SC noisy high pressure fuel pump
Hey all,
I have a 14 XF 3.0 SC that I bought as a salvage and rebuilt. Car is on the road and doing fine except for the "bb in a can rattle" that I've tracked down to the engine mounted/driven high pressure fuel pumps. Jaguar has a TSB on this issue but because the car was a total, I am not eligible for any TSB work. They want $700 per pump and a few hours of labor which I think is ridiculous. Seeing that every other sensor/component on this car has a big FOMOCO stamp on it, anyone know is there is an interchange to a "normal" ford product or does anyone on here work for Jag and get any discount on parts?
