Hi all. I recently updated my 2014 xf 2.2l diesels nav system to the 2020 update and to be fair, it did a good job on updating new roads, roundabouts, flyovers etc. One thing that it did not do, disappointingly so, was allow the postal code search function work outside the UK(I am in Ireland). I tried to use the co ordination search function, but it keeps saying "area not on map". Am I to presume the reason for this message is because the co ordinates are outside the UK? THANKS.

 

Have you put your origin country as Ireland ? It may be looking for an Irish postcode in the wrong country.

 

I have yes. As stated, no matter which country of origin you put in, the letter "B" only works when entering in postcodes. This is why I tried using co ordinates function
