Default 2014 XF windshield soundproofing?

There is a crack in my xf windshield and it is beyond repair, so as I look for replacement options, not to anyone's surprise, the aftermarket ones are much cheaper than OEM. However, in addition to rain sensor, there is another option for soundproofing (acoustic windshield), which I am not familiar with.

Does anyone know if the xf OEM windshield is soundproof? If so, does it make a noticable different?

My research so far - OEM price is close to $800, aftermarket ones with rain sensor (some has soundproofing feature) range from $250 to mid 400s.

Not heated, just rain sensor and soundproofing

Any good glass company (do not go to safelite) should be able to tell what you have via your vin. Original glass is made by pilkington so I would go with pilkington aftermarket glass personally. My glass had a little incident a week after I got it used and since it was over a year old my insurance company would only pay for aftermarket glass. My glass guy wasn't happy with the first two manufacturers that his distributor had so we waited for them to get a pilkington in from their supplier. Looks identical to the original in every way except for the lable.
